Dermaplaning Aesthetic Treatment in Bromsgrove
For instantly refreshed & vibrant skin
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective procedure for treating anyone with dry or rough skin texture, it’s highly popular in the celebrity and entertainment world, particularly among models and actresses. Dermaplaning creates a glowing complexion and rids the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. The method of controlled ‘scraping’ is safely performed using a sterile disposable surgical blade, with a delicate touch, we simply abrade the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes.

What can I expect from the treatments?
Dermaplaning is a painless procedure which is performed by using a scalpel to manually remove (by scraping) the dead skin cells from the epidermis which will leave your skin glowing and seriously smooth. Typically this treatment takes 20-30 minutes and requires no recovery time
What area of the skin can be treated?
Dermaplaning is performed on the face only. This is also common among men as due to the nature of course hair growing in the beard area, men can only be treated on the upper cheeks, around the eyes and forehead.
What are the benefits of dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning actually provides many of the same benefits as a light chemical skin peel without any downtime or post-treatment peeling. You’ll look more radiant with an evener skin tone and texture, which is why first-timers say their skin felt incredibly soft and glowing

How often is the procedure performed for optimal results?
Dermaplaning removes 21 days worth of dead skin cells, so it’s best to allow the skin to complete its rejuvenation cycle before your next treatment. We recommend having dermaplaning every 4-6 weeks. Blading the skin removes about 3 weeks worth of dead skin cells. We want the skin to complete its normal skin cycle of approximately 30 days.
Are There Side Effects to Dermaplaning?
People with very sensitive skin may not react well to such aggressive skin exfoliation, as your skin may naturally peel afterwards. Dermaplaning is also discouraged for people with acne or who have frequent breakouts. If you are a good candidate for dermaplaning, the side effects should be few to none.
